Coastal Wetlands
Kīhei, Maui
A coastal restoration project for one of the last coastal wetlands located along the southwest shores of Maui. Stocked with indigenous, endemic, and other culturally significant plantings, this system helps absorb storm water during heavy rains and lessens impacts on the adjacent coral reef.
